We’re back from New Orleans, and if you’re like us, you’ve spent the last week thinking through all the great ideas you brought home from Hatch Digital Forum. Although we were there as a speaker and exhibitor, our ears are always open – especially when it comes to hearing how forward-thinking Blues plans are innovating to engage members and attract customers.
There were a couple trends that we heard loud and clear. First, ‘big data’ is here to stay and many Blues are starting to collect and analyze this information to maximize marketing spend. Second, the health insurers who will win in the post-reform environment are the ones who are building a remarkable end-to-end experience across the customer lifecycle. The coming year offers uncertainty, but it is clear that it also presents much opportunity.
